Fine Wine Towel

I was looking at my tired old towel I keep on my oven door this weekend and decided to make a new one. I love wine on occasion and thought this would be appropriate. It turned out great. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fine-wine-towel

Ariane

I purchased this Interlacements Rick Rack yarn in the color “Las Vegas Brights” without a clue as to what I would use if for. One hank held 1200 yards and the colors called to me. I found this pattern on Ravelry and was inspired.

I worked the bodice in a different pattern. I tried several times with this pattern, but just got too frustrated with the pattern. That’s what I love about Crochet & Knitting…you can always improvise.

Felted Table Runner

I loved the Miss Grace design by Skeino from the instant I saw it. I just didn’t want to knit a shawl or wrap as I seldom use those garments. I had this felting wool in my stash which was a door prize at a yarn show and knew it would be perfect! As this is my first felting project, the finished product is far beyond my expectations.

The yarn is Knit One, Crochet Too (Paint Box & Parfait Solids)
