I so enjoy making baby blankets. I can always envision a little angel cuddled up in a handmade blanket. The first baby blanket I made with this pattern was planned for a little girl, turns out my friend had a little boy! Surprise! He’s so adorable! Second time’s a charm for this blanket. Tunisian entrelac works up so nicely with Caron Simply Soft. #Yarnspirations
I’m in LOVE with Tunisian Entrelac. I followed Bethintx youtube videos to complete this cute little stroller blanket. Her instructions are quite good.
Just finished this precious little pair of baby booties. The original pattern is not beaded. I was testing the pattern in the different sizes and whether to string the beads or apply as I went. I used the crystal style beads I had on hand. Next pair will have pearls. From a 1987 Annie’s Pattern Club booklet.
This is my first pattern design and I couldn’t be more thrilled that it’s become so popular. Normally, I design more from necessity than from my own creativity. But this little gem was special after I learned the beauty of knitted slipped stitches. It’s quite simple and can be adapted to all sizes. And…..the pattern is FREE! Get the pattern HERE.
Photo on the left are the preemie hats I’ve made. Special thanks to Raveler “grantrm” for the adult version she made pictured on the right.
Finished these little overalls for my boss’s grandson due very soon. I think they’re just adorable! I never really found a pattern I was comfortable with, so I wrote on for these. It can be found on Ravelry at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/camo-overalls.
I’ve been working on Ocean themed items for my boss’s grandson’s arrival in July. The Ocean Waves blanket is done and now so is this cute little cuddle blanket. It’s a simple ripple blanket and my own whale design.
