Here in the South, frigid winter days are few & far between. We have wind though, lots of wind. When the wind blows, even moderate temps can feel like your ears are icy. This is a simple ear warmer headband which works up very quickly in bulky weight yarn for just that occasion. A great 1-2 hour project.

I’ve had so many pattern ideas floating around in my head lately. I finally had some time to get another one completed.
This Boudoir Bag offers a pretty alternative to tossing your intimates into the hamper with all the other clothing from the household.
The shoulder straps, piping & lacing are all I-cord. You get to use that little Embellish Knit machine! It’s also pretty enough to display in your bedroom or bath. I want to make another with fringe at the bottom, then another with sequin yarn! Hmmm…..
The pattern is available HERE for $2.50.
This blanket uses a variation of one of my favorite knitted patterns, “Old Shale”. It’s so timeless and elegant. It’s also quite addictive. It seems to add a calming effect to any piece.
The pattern is very versatile as it can be worked in as many rounds as desired, using any yarn, but is especially pretty with long color runs.
I used 3 balls of that awesome Bernat Pop! in Birch, Bark & Blue colorway. The finished size is 35″ X 35″. Perfect lap blanket or stroller/car seat blanket.

Prayers & Praise filet panel.I adore Filet Crochet! It’s so elegant and delicate. I’ve created this pattern as a description of my faith in Our Savior, Jesus Christ.
God’s Blessings to you.

I wasn’t sure about the colors in this cake at first. The more I worked it, the more I liked it. As I finished it last night, I prayed for safety for all in the path of Hurricane Harvey. Ends up it’s a quite fitting name as Harvey started affecting our area as soon as I finished blocking it this morning. #PrayforTexas #HurricaneHarvey #LionBrandMandala
The Mandala yarn is a wonderfully soft acrylic to work with and has very nice stitch definition.
